Bitcoin (BTC) Keeps Traveling from Weak Holders to Strong Holders

Josiah Spackman, Chief Fun officer at Digibyte recently gave an introduction to DigiByte, which is good for those who are new to DigiByte and are just getting used to DGB.

The interview was hosted by Lea Thompson, Host of Girl Gone Crypto. For those who are concerned about what is DigiByte? And, why they should care about it? The interview makes perfect sense.

Josiah Spackman stated, a lot of people are obviously familiar with Bitcoin, they know what it stands for, they know the idea of self-sovereign, in control of your own fun, and that it is decentralized and all of the great stuff.  It really holds true to all of the rules.

DigiByte is kind of taking all of that and dialed everything to eleven.  So, the same for where it comes to the Proof of Work mining.  Rather than having one, where there is a handful of miners where it comes to the proof of work mining we have five different algorithms, and we have some of the most diverse proof of work mining.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Josiah Spackman, Chief Fun officer at Digibyte talked about how Digibyte (DGB) dialed everything to eleven.”

Arguably, in the entire industry. Same for the bot timing, you can do a whole lot with it.  It would be great if you can increase a little bit with it, but it is not just 2 times 4 times, 8 times so we made it 40 times faster with a 15 second lock timing. A whole bunch of nice little things like that have made it really usable as for the broader world.

Digibyte (DGB) 15 minutes Safe Limit for Proof of Work Mining

Lea Thompson asked, the 15 seconds transaction time is obviously a little more attractive than 10 minutes that we were talking about like daily transactions of someone who is trying to buy coffee with their crypto and things like that and, it is that one of the main reasons behind why DigiByte was created to make it a little bit more usable for everyday use or maybe we can talk a little about transaction times.

Absolutely, so one the things that Jared Tate has stated in the past was that, when he started off and he was involved in Bitcoin, started looking at the code and started with a bunch of different developers and people on the likes of Bitcoin talk forums, back in the days where there were very few place to get any kind of crypto related news, and he would talk with them and on what if we do things like why in 10 minutes, why can’t it be 5 minutes, why can’t it be one minute, why can’t it be 15 seconds and so a whole bunch of things like that.

The idea was that we looked at a lot of the short comings and like the pain points. And, that is something we continue to do within ourselves as DigiByte being forward thinking at looking at those pain points working at the short comings and our weak points, and going ahead let’s fix that and improve upon it and that was what eventually got us down to like you mentioned the 15 second bot timing, as the safe limit for Proof of Work Mining.
