DigiByte Update – #212 – Ren + DigiByte & the world of DeFi, DigiChat, and Coinbase Rosetta progress
REN acts as a Bridge for Digibyte between the traditional world that we live in and the world of decentralized finance, especially a lot of which is happening on Ethereum. Summing up on how, REN is going to get used with DGB in the future. REN had gone and made a post here, we have actually been working alongside for a little while now, getting this all, ready to go.
They have politely requested that we do not go and make any major announcement before they are ready to discuss; however, they are ready now. REN and Multi chain. A Multi chain is basically a certain aspect of the REN protocol which will allow them to implement a bunch of everything for example such as DOGEcoin and Digibyte.
So, as mentioned here they have gone open source for now and made it possible for you to go and have a nosey at. Or if you happen to be from something else, say for example, Vertcoin, you can now go and have a poll request and have them to add support for it.
So, I have seen that DOGECoin is the first one and Digibyte are actually the first ones to open a “request.” So, they themselves have implemented the DOGEcoin implementation I believe. But, the Digibyte one is the one that I have been working alongside couple of other people. More to know from the direct video for those who are interested.
