BitPanda, during April, announced that DogeCoin came out in Top after their successful $BEST holder coin poll. They also clarified that Doge is now fully integrated and tradeable on BitPanda. DogeCoin came out as a winner with a 30% vote.
Ross Nicoll tweeted: “To everyone who asks what’s next in Dogecoin, getting everyone to upgrade to 1.14 is what’s next, because we can’t ship features if the network doesn’t upgrade. Please reach out to anyone you know who might be running a node, check your nodes, we really need people to upgrade.”
Several Doge users have claimed they have got some Doge from different sources but are not sure of how to deal with it technically.
In response to a commentator who did not know how to deal technically with DOGE, Ross Nicoll stated, “If you’re running on limited hardware, it’s fine to leave others to host full nodes. It’s just anyone that is running a full node; we ask to upgrade. That said, if anyone has spare hardware lying around to run full nodes, increasing the total number of up to date nodes helps.”
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted: “Remember a tweet, which was talking about DogePal as a method of transferring Dogecoin from peer-to-peer via email. Dogecoin getting to be active and purposeful.”
Tom Carbon, in the past, tweeted about DogePal It facilitates SMS, Invoice creation with payment history, and advertising services. And, the best of all, the users get to keep their own Dogecoin private key. One can print it out and retain it without losing it.
DogeCoin (DOGE) As a Game Currency
DogeCoin is widely famous as a game currency. For instance, Ruins of Chaos, which is a browser-based persistent RPG, makes use of Dogecoins. It can be used for in-game markets, obtained via faucet, for interactions with other users, to buy gems. Coins can also be withdrawn to the personal wallets of users.
Someone worried about the future and fate of Doge opined that dogecoin market cap should hit a minimum of $120 billion to be successful or the owners would have to cut the coin supply down to at most 20 billion coins or a couple of pennies is all we’ll see for years to come.
The whole of the community is not optimistic and not fully pessimistic; they call for worthy cutbacks to improve development.
