Pro Ethereum users believe that ETH is clearly here to embody a digital Silver. They compare the Bitcoin to gold, and ETH to Silver. Further stating, Silver has many use cases and by analogy ETH as having many use cases. Gold has almost no use cases except technology, jewelry and looking pretty, Bitcoin is the same. Perhaps they are trying to place more weightage on the smart contracts value of Ethereum.
Vitalik Buterin retweeted: “With Ethereum 2.0 approaching, @VitalikButerin will return to the Bankless Podcast to revisit some of the fundamentals design principles that Ethereum 2.0 has been built on: Why PoS? Why Sharding? Why ETH Issuance? Why 1559? What questions do you want asked?”
Regarding, Why 1559? Some developers state that they do not see much impact on network efficiency, and that it is mostly about making the asset scarcer and felt that is not the case either.
In response, majority of the computer members were just about when, when, and when about ETH 2.0.
Some of them were asking Vitalik about how much Bitcoin will come on Ethereum over the next year? When does he think we will see UniSwap and Compound and other big DApps launch their roll-up V3 Dapps?
Some of the users are considering if Ethereum Network will he considering lowering the minimum stake for confirmation farming after the POS integration?
With the Ethereum approaching, what does the transition look like? For things deployed already, is there any necessary steps for teams to start considering in advance?
While some of them approve it as a great initiative, there are other users who are still wondering if Ethereum will replace Swift.
Concerns are also building around what would happen if someone didn’t like a specific validator and decided to DDOS their IP address?
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Waiting for Ethereum (ETH) gas price to get 10X Cheaper. Trust Vitalik.”
Ethereum (ETH) and Validators in Governance
Ethereum users are curious to know about the marketing strategies envisioned? They are concerned about always hearing that mass adoption is the key to success. They are willing to know if investment will be made towards educating and simplifying rather complex principles. They have to state that people need to be able to trust ETH. And, that Trust comes with knowledge.
The community are looking to see an exhaustive protocol on governance covered. They are wondering if validators will have some future role in governance.
