The NEM Group recently announced its new Interim CMO and new marketing plan, which builds both NEM and Symbol as strong brands.
Dan Bobby is the interim CMO for the NEM Group. Dan brings 30 years of brand building and marketing experience. The immediate priority is to make marketing more effective. To add to the focus, improve the quality, and ensure simplicity in approach.
The immediate focus of the group is to provide a detailed Symbol Launch Plan and delivery, thus providing certainty around the launch. Ensuring a marketing approach to reinvigorate the community. Next is to reorganize the entities who are supporting the NEM ecosystem; therefore, Symbol and the project are supported well, and it is possible to launch it and beyond. All of these elements are woven well in their marketing plan.
To ensure maximum awareness of the NEM project and of Symbol, they are focusing on ensuring genuine content, genuine use cases, and community involvement.

NEM are now focusing on creating a marketing plan/roadmap, which will be shared openly with the community to ensure involvement, questions, and comments. Thus, reinstating on delivering high quality and engaging content for their audience. Therefore the NEM Ecosystem and Symbol will be made to be strong brands. All of these will be ensured after a review of the current activity in the pipeline.

Several tactical initiatives are committed for delivery by May 31, 2020, which includes refreshment of Nem.io website. Website Launch for Symbol Product. NEM Platform (NIS1) product website launch. Creation of the marketing plan and launching it, supporting the community re-invigoration strategy, which was already communicated on May 10, 2020.
The already existing marketing team is set to be optimally restructured to provide for a professional marketing service for the NEM Group. As the work progresses, the structure of the team and the marketing approach will be duly communicated.
