Brad Garlinghouse probably got on his nerves while someone triggered him to speak. And, he went on clarifying that Ripple is here to stay in the cross-border payments market all loud, all strong, and all statistically with sufficient theoretical clarification.
Brad Garlinghouse tweeted a lot of lines in which he stated, “My fav skeptics are active today! (@[email protected]) Ripple has absolutely no plans to ‘reset’ our strategy. Using XRP to solve a real-world, $10T problem, like cross-border payments, is working”
I’ll let the data speak for itself: – ODL (product that uses XRP) has accounted for more than $2 billion in txns since its launch – ODL volume grew 11x YoY comparing H1’19 v. H1’20 – In less than 3yrs, we’ve processed 2B+ txns on RippleNet w a notional value of $7B+ (2/4)
Over two dozen customers are on board w/ ODL including MoneyGram, goLance, Viamericas, FlashFX, Azimo and the list goes on… P.S. @nathanielpopper, for future reference – quick fact check and in keeping with NYT standards – my Twitter handle is @bgarlinghouse, not @bradgarlinghouse.
An important correction as there was a significant typo below. If I ever misspeak – I want to be the first one to address it. We have processed 2M+ (not 2B+) txns on RippleNet w/ a notional value of $7B+
In this regard, the Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Ripple (XRP) Brad Garlinghouse clarified that his Twitter handle is @bgarlinghouse, not @bradgarlinghouse. Scammer-o-phobia.”
Ripple (XRP) Diversified Approach
If Ripple should diversify, there is no need for them to give up and ditch all that they have been doing for so long. Diversify can mean an extension. Ripple is one of the major players in the cryptocurrency space, keeping the spirit of internet money alive.
While Brad got heated up by skeptics, it is heartening to see that Ripple is here around to stay continuing what they have been doing.
Ripple recently called all the developers who are looking to integrate their money in to their Apps. Further requested that developers explore XpringDev, which is a platform which provides developer tools, services and programs.
One of them who got inspired expressed that they would love to work with a developer to take advantage of this. He further expressed that he is more project management and that before getting started would like to have a more surface level understanding of what he could do with Xpring in order to zero in on a product and to further approach their developers with a plan.
