Sia have requested their users to sign up and follow them on Ignite, which is a microblogging service. Those who are new to SiaTechHQ and Sia, it is a leading decentralized cloud storage platform where it is possible to store data on the cloud without having to lose privacy or control. Also important to understand sia.tech and siasky.net.
Sia Tweeted: Our twitter updates are now also available on Ignite by @prometeusnet- beta.ignite so/user/SiaTechHQ Ignite is a censorship resistant, decentralized microblogging service built using Skynet.
For those who are new to Skynet there is an introduction video on Skynet and the @HNS @namebase on YouTube.
Many feel that the power of Sia and HQ is underappreciated in a hilarious way. The current excitement is about “Own the Internet Hackathon Livestream.”
They have announced a minor adjustment to the t-shirt design meant for the exclusive ‘Own the Internet’ T-shirt for all participants. The look of the mascot on the T-shirt has been changed.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “The countdown is on for the launch of the Skynet x Handshake hackathon!”
Some analysts have to state that the next big financial crisis is set to happen in financial sectors in highly networked companies. Looks like there are lot of stuff which will come up in the future to sort.
SiaCoin (SC) Community Member
Sia recently spoke about Christophe Valmir, a community member, who created a storage and multimedia box on Sia. He has created a post, in which he walks the users through the history of storage, cost comparisons with other cloud providers and his experience using Sia.
In his Linkedin post expresses how he presented his BlackSia prototype to the blockchain community and on how he was bored during the May bridges despite intense work of the containment. He recalled on how storage techniques have changed a lot over the past 30 years.
He takes readers through the 80’s and 90’s when local back up was the king; year 2000 when remote backup made timid entry using FTP; year 2005 through 2008 on how remote back up was on large hosts; year 2012 on remote encrypted back up with hosts; and years 2015 through 2020 with remote backup without a large host. He establishes that the backup and streaming infrastructures keep changing.
When discussing the future of Siacoin, he stated that they have had file sharing since May in Beta. He points to using 4k or 8k as being nice and also stated that it remains to see if a store might want to test it. The on-looking community feel all is cool about Blacksia.
